Yervand Sarkisyan spoke at London Tech Week

Yervand Sarkisyan, took part at London Tech Week and had opportunity to share insights and experiences at the Royal Society during an event titled "United Kingdom, Springboard for Growth!"

The event brought together a diverse group of participants, including a strong delegation of startups and companies from Armenia, along with companies from Turkey and Kazakhstan.

During the session, Yervand spoke about two important topics. Firstly, he discussed how Granatus supported our portfolio companies through their internationalisation journeys. It was inspiring to highlight the strategies and approaches that have helped these companies thrive in the global market.

Secondly, he shared valuable recommendations on do’s and don’ts for international start-ups and scale-ups when they tap the UK market. Start-ups and scale-ups play a crucial role in driving innovation, and understanding the best practices and pitfalls in the UK market is essential for success.

Yervand also emphasized the importance of protecting intellectual property, which is a crucial aspect of business growth, and having a solid foundation in the UK or EU offers numerous advantages and opportunities for innovation.

The Ambassador of Armenia to the UK, Varuzhan Nersessian, was also present at the event which made a great opportunity for meaningful discussions about the potential collaboration between United Kingdom and Armenia and the thriving tech ecosystems.
