Climate Launchpad 2016

Yervand Sarkisyan, co-founder of Granatus Ventures, was a judge at the Final of Climate Launchpad 2016 competition held on Oct 8, 2016 in Tallinn, Estonia. Climate Launchpad is the world’s largest cleantech competition. The 2016 Final brought together 87 teams from 30 European countries.A new generation of cleantech entrepreneurs came to present breakthrough business ideas and solutions aimed at addressing the negative impacts of climate change.Armenia was represented by 3 teams presenting a very efficient rotary engine (Green Technology), a battery for use in extreme situations (Simple Liquid Batteries), and a solar energy generation machine (Energy Globe). Simple Liquid Batteries was among the 15 finalists.
